Project Description
Block E of the St Andrews development at Bromley-by-Bow is found in close proximity to overground coast-to-coast (C2C) and surface London Underground (LUL) train lines. The building comprises of 17 floors of residential accommodation and a ground floor multiuse space. The building is an RC frame structure with rectangular columns and walls supporting a flat slab construction. Stability is provided by a number RC Shear and core walls.
CADS was appointed for the project at RIBA stage-4 and carried out Finite element Modelling, Pile loads, Stability check and Design of Pile cap Foundation, RC Columns, RC Stability walls, Slabs and Staircase for entire project.
