Project Description

The overall project involved the design of new 354 space multilevel car park in Llandudno, North Wales. The building is constructed of composite steel frame with precast slabs and in situ structural topping. Secondary beams are made of cellular beams and Primary beams are made of hot rolled sections which in turn support the precast slabs above. Along with transverse reinforcement, pre welded shear studs are used to achieve the composite action. The diaphragm action of the floor transfers the lateral forces to the diagonal bracing & cross steel bracings which provides the stability to the structure.

CADS carried out Detailed structural design for entire project.
